Copywriting

Well-designed promotional materials go a long way towards conveying your credibility. But without the right words, your message could be lost.

A polished website or brochure needs persuasive, easy-to-read copy. Good copy should convey the truth of your message: the emotional pull that transforms information into a genuine connection. We'll work with you, transforming your drafts, outlines, and even your raw ideas into concise, informative, and engaging prose.

"Today, life in the Arctic is changing more rapidly than ever before. Every summer the ice gets thinner, melting at a rate of 9.6% every ten years. The yearly return of sea ice is delayed, pushing polar bears, adapted for life along the ice edge, to the brink starvation. Warmer weather brings more snow & precipitation, limiting access to the lichen that reindeer herds of Norway depend upon for survival.

Traditional life in the Arctic was shaped by the constant struggle for survival in the harsh landscape. Preserving these traditions today is no less than a battle against extinction. In recent years, indigenous groups have strove for recognition and cultural sovereignty, ensuring that polar cultures and the land that shaped them live on."

"Our gear is loaded into the air boat, and the 502 HP engine roars to life. We whiz past islands, slowing down for the occasional ice ridge -- two masses of ice pushed up against one another from the forces of the river to create a wall. As the ice thins, we break through and head up current in the deep water channel, aiming for the ruins of a two-hundred year old schooner hidden beneath the thick ice. As the white line of solid ice approaches, the airboat easily transitions from open water to solid ice again. Using exact GPS coordinates, we close in on the dive site. After cutting a hole to make access to the clear waters below, divers slip beneath the ice, and head down to view the three masted schooner silhouetted against the ice above. Once the dive is complete, we head back to the inn for a warming lunch. For the afternoon dive, we will attempt to locate the King Horn, lost in 1897 during a storm. A wooden schooner converted to a barge, the King Horn is largely sitting upright in 90' of water. We love this wreck for the great photo opportunities it affords, both below deck and around the ship's wheel. Photo opportunities with ice overhead are unparalleled."
